So, you have to upload the custom tunes to the unit every time you return it to stock cause the Predator doesn't have the ability to remember and store the custome tunes and erases ...

After doing research here, I think I got the whole custom tune download figures out:

1st, I need to have a tune from the Predator already programed into my trucks ecm, then I can import the custom tunes I got here into the Predator downloader. Do I have this right???

Back in Sept I took my Predator to the local authorized Diablosport tuner and had all the updates done and the RKL custom tunes installed. Played around a bit with them and had fun, then returned to stock tune after I blew a turbo boot. Haven't had the Predator hooked up since except to read and ...

So thats why so many have given up on curing this probem. Everyone knows, that this is the only thing holding the Common Rail Cummins back.

Just curious as to why it's so hard? I was told it's cause those two parameters are tied into the ecm's ABS and odometer signals to intentionally prevent them from being tampered with. I know you can bypass it all by pulling the ABS/VSS fuse but I hate that I have no speedo and due to not having a ...
