welcome to my world almost a year ago finally. Had the same problem had to send my ECU with my programmer to DS and let them program it on the bench because it will not take in the truck no matter what fuses you take out. I was on the phone with DS for 2 days trying everything and it never happened.

I tried the acc position and it wouldn't even start to load the tune. in the on position it atleast made it to 15% before it kicked me out. Mike was it the ECM or PCM? I hope the ECM because I am on my way to fedex right now, plus according to the manual my truck doesn't have a PCM I think.

I just put the RMA request in Mike, I will overnight the pcm to you you will have it tomorrow. Let me know what you find out once you get it.

I understand the tunes installed might be the same, but on the manual setting would there be any shift pattern changes? For instance, how could you install a defueling tune on manual when the computer does not control the shifts?
