RE: 07 V6 Mustang & C&L cai
Yes, that should be fine, just listen for detonation. If you hear any, obviously back of the throttle and pull another degree of timing.

No, just use the Steeda 90mm and you will be fine.

Use the Steeda 90mm Cold Air kit tune. They are the exact same.

RE: How to check AFR using Predator
Sounds like you do need a custom tune especially if you had to add that much fuel.

RE: C&L with 93 oct ?
You can add timing to increase the horsepower and torque if you add a higher octane. What I was meaning was there is no gain by simply adding octane alone.

RE: C&L with 93 oct ?
No it will not hurt but it will not help either. The same amount of timing is going to be commanded regaurdless of what octane you put in the car.

Where were they measuring air/fuel? In the tailpipe or before the convertors?

I tried to PM you back but it would not work for some reason. Custom tunes are $125. I will need your original backup with the e-mail.

RE: How to check AFR using Predator
The Predator has no analog inputs to do that. You will need to purchase a wideband Air/Fuel meter to read that or take it to a dyno that uses a wideband.

RE: 2004 Mustang GT---custom tune?
No, a custom tune is not required, you should be fine with the tunes provided in the Predator. Also you have adjustment in the tunes that you can make yourself if need be.

No you do not. That does not change airflow in or out, so no changes are necessary.

RE: ok
First thing would be to dyno it and see what the numbers and the AFR is. If all is good then no, but if AFR is good and power is low then you could potentially pickup some power with a custom tune, same thing if the AFR is off.
