If I need to get a revision to my programmers software (U7193) does it matter if I bought the programmer from an individual on ebay? Thanks.

If I've purchased this tuner off of an individual will this affect my ability to get it revised?

I have a U7193 that has the 1.13 revision on it. I now have a 2005 Hummer H2 and when I go to tune it I receive an error along the lines of vehicle not recognized... or something of that sort. How can I get the newest revision of the software? Thanks.
