I have been fighting the surging problem since installed the 268 three years ago (came from the 260 which ran perfectly). Neither sct or Diablo has been able to fix it. I have changed map sensors erg valves ect. all to no effect. The only way I could get rid of the surge was with the psc-1 and ...

Upon further investigation the transmission parameter selection came back, but with my custom tune it will not program the TCM if I modify tune. On the canned tunes it worked fine. It showed both PCM and TCM being programed.

Do we need a custom TCM tune or should we be able to modify the the ...

9t08a still hasn't fixed my problem. When loading a custom tune the transmission parameters show up during the initial install under modify tune. However, when the tune is loading it only does the PCM. After going back in to custom tunes > modify tune the transmission/pcm selection is no longer ...

Thanks for communication Mike. I think we all know you guys are busy with projects and can't just drop everything to fix this, but the communication no matter how small keeps us in the loop and makes us feel like you haven't forgotten about us.

No, the fan is always spinning since it is mechanical. The 180 degree thermostat will open sooner and keep the coolant temp near that.

Bump. Put the 05 crom back up for us to reload if this is going to be a problem. I'll datalog with 06 and go back to 05 when I'm done.

A fix for this would be great. Had to update to get data logging working and lost the transmission controls.

I'm not sure this a problem with the tuner specifically. After I removed superchips and had either the stock tune with PSC or the SCT tune this began happening. I have a feeling it has to do with tire size at it's effect on rpm and mph in relation to the shifting schedule. Just a guess though. I'm ...
