RE: 2006 Mustang GT auto - U7140 r.35 - JLT Cold Air Intake
Hey Cole,
Can you please optimize the tune you sent me for 93 octane fuel? The tune your sent a month ago is running well, but I would like to get the most bang for my buck at the pump, since I use 93 and not 91. Just out of curiousity...what changes will you make to the tune, so that it will run ...

Hey Cole,
I emailed you this morning. Is there anyway you can post the custom tune to this thread if you are having trouble emailing me?
Thanks,
Ryan

Also, is the new tune optimized for 93 octane gas? If not, what setting(s) should be changed to optimize for 93 octane vs. the standard 91 octance tunes?

RE: Re: RE: 2006 Mustang GT auto - U7140 r.35 - JLT Cold Air
I was emailed a tune back in March. The tune firmed up the shifts, but made the overall performance worse. I went ahead and reinstalled the standard firm shift tune for the JLT intake. Did you recently email me a new tune? If so, I did not get it.

RE: 2006 Mustang GT auto - U7140 r.35 - JLT Cold Air Intake
I received an email notifying that someone had replied to my last post, but I don't see anything. Can someone help me with the lag issues I'm having with shifts in the 3500 - 5500 RPM range?? When I throw down enough throttle to redline, it shifts firmly. When I'm accelerating slowly (not fun for a ...

jtkelly,
Unfortunately for me, the lag problem has not been resolved by any Predator updates or settings adjustments recommended by Diablosport. My Mustang is running a lot quicker with the Predator, but the upshift lag issue around the 4k rpm range is very annoying. Any help with this issue would ...

U7140 w/ CAI - Modify 91 octane tune into a 93 octane tune
What parameters should I modify to optimize the 91 octane JLT cold air tune for 93 octane fuel? I'm basically looking to modify the 91 octane tune into a 93 octane tune, since there is no 93 octane tune with the different cold air intake kit options. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan Pettit

RE: 2006 Mustang GT auto - U7140 r.35 - JLT Cold Air Intake
I installed the custom tune. Now it is shifting more firmly at lower RPMs (around 4000), but the overall performance (especially low end torque) is noticeably worse. I went ahead and re-installed the JLT Firm Shift tune, as it still performs better overall. Again, my only issue with the standard JLT ...

RE: 2006 Mustang GT auto - U7140 r.35 - JLT Cold Air Intake
Mike,
I just emailed you my original backup file. The hesitation problem during shifts is the same regardless of whether or not I correct the revs per mile to 740 (235/50-18 tires). Could you please also optimize the tune you send me for 93 octane gas? Thanks again.
