throttle body upgrade for 01 GT
Numerous posts have indicated that upgrading a throttle body on a stock GT doesn't do much, even with the right tune. How about with shorties and an X-pipe? If those parts are added, is the throttle body upgrade then worthwhile, assuming the right custom tune?

01 GT with a CAI and TB upgrade
On my 2001 GT, I have a K&N cold air intake and 78mm BBK throttle body w/an integrated plenum. I've installed the predator's standard tune for 93 octane (U7146); I didn't notice any real power increase with the tune, but it did stop the detonation that I had running these mods on the GT's stock tune ...

RE: meaning of "lightly modified" Mustang GT

meaning of "lightly modified" Mustang GT
I have a 2001 Mustang GT and a Predator U7146, which I bought only a few days ago. I am new to your forum, and would be grateful to learn from the experience of others. The literature and website say that the stock Predator tune is meant for stock or lightly modified cars; I have added a K&N cold ...
