it's not the laptop...man, i forgot all about this. I found a fix...it's the actual DV software. I went with an older version of DV, works perfect, no freezing, on any of my laptops now.

I've even removed it from the laptop and downloaded it again. & with the revision for the Trinity, which helped the PID's, but it still WILL NOT let me datalog through my laptop

Haven't tried it, but I already read it's still jacked up. my trinity d/l on it's own when I went to reupload the tune, I forgot to turn off my wifi...either way, we can't go back to the older croms

I've been having the same issue on both my laptops. It's the newest Dataviewer, even tried removing & reinstalling, same issue. If I plug it into my desktop, it works, well, to d/l any internal logs at least.

Both Windows 7 & Windows 8...no go

So update to the new crom...and now my trinity won't connect to the car. I have to keep unplugging it, and reconnecting...and maybe it'll work.

And since getting the trinity, I haven't been able to use the dataviewer...it'll freeze, and say not responding. I'm lost here...Never had this many issues ...

Anything yet? Kinda in the dark here when half the displays don't want to show anything...

yes...I tried connecting another DSP, and it worked. The one that won't connect says "This is a u9000 Tuner Series tool. Please load a Tuner Series Crom file" on the screen.

My DSP doesn't say this when plugged in

Ok, lately I've been having issues with the DSP connecting to my laptop (usb to serial), I've tried both cables (lost and then found the original after I bought another). Today, it can't find the DSP through any port and just keeps looking and looking....trying to upload the 9r18 crom to a Predator ...
