I have a 2002 silverado 5.3 u7198. I'm thinking about getting a trans. with a stage 2 shift kit, vette servo, and 4th gear servo. Old trans. went out and need to replace. Is this good or bad? Will this make a noticable difference in power? Thanks

I'm puttting a engine (5.3 liter) from an 2005 z71 silverado in my 2002 silverado my question is will my programmer (u798) work with the new motor?
Since the computers will all be the same it should still work right?

anyone else got an opinion just trying to get a good idea before i do it

well all I'm going for is sound and oklahoma doesn't have inspection I'm only worried about loss of low end torque

I had this problem in my 02 silverado and it was the intake gasket leaking after I replaced that it runs just fine
