Ugh, you guys are going rice now? The Germans should have priority. Far more potential. People are willing to overpay for their tunes, so you know that they'll flock to a decent priced tuner.
German??? Check out where Beemers and Mercs are built. It may be German "engineering" but they are ...

We understand completely, Mike. Just knowing that there is hope for our cars is great. Now to fight off that anxiety! Lol!

Thats part of the problem...they wont.

Can't deal with reality, huh 05? :normal:
Selectively forgeting about the past. I can't do that. I've seen too many Korean pieces of shit. The dealer where I used to get my Jeep serviced also did Kias, and I can't tell you how many I saw with their motors out and torn down. Crap back then and crap ...

Re: Kia Optima 2.0 Turbo
Mikel, I'llshoot you an email when I get to work. I really didn't come here asking for help just to have the thread clogged up with Levy's typical BS. I guess some things just never change, and some people never grow up.

Re: Kia Optima 2.0 Turbo
Another thing to look at, Mike, is the GenCoupe guys are wanting open source and have gone as far as putting a "bounty" up to get there. They already have folks that offered to reverse engineer it but would only release canned tunes. Anything custom would have to be done by a professional tuner on a ...

do you know if the hyundai and kia 2.0T motors are using the same PCMs?
I can't say definitely yes or no at the moment. When I get to work tonight I will do a little digging, but I am pretty sure that they are the same. I know PowerAxel is offering an ...

Kia Optima 2.0 Turbo
The Kia community has grown tremendously in the past 2 years. I am on http://www.optimaforums.com and our member base has gained 5000+ members in the last year. With the 274 hp 2.0 turbo motor that is present in the Optima and in the Hyundai Sonata (same motor) an increase in boost to 20+ psi ...

RE: Custom Tune (Need Popping Removed)
The Diablo guys don't work on the weekend so you might have to wait until Monday. I'm sure Lew (06MonteSS) has stuff going on and that is why he hasn't replied. You should get some assistance tomorrow morning.

RE: Program HP Tune with E85?
You don't really have to have the PC adapter kit in order to get your fueling dialed in. I actually do mine without it. You seem like a smart feller and I'm sure you can understand the concept with the LTFT adjustment. One thing I would suggest is letting 06MonteSS write you a custom tune if you are ...

Keep the cats. You don't need to remove them unless you are pushing 500+hp
