Yes, I did pull the predator (earlier post on this thread) and the bogging was a lot less. I also felt like it downshifted much earlier and easier, without having to bury my foot, keeping the truck in the power. I've tried adjusting shift points, etc, but had little to no effect. Going up a hill ...

So far no change. I reset the parameters and tried in vain to get the truck acting right. My truck will not downshift to first with the predator and still bogs horribly. I'm at my wits end with this thing. I really want to get it working right, but it seems almost hopeless. In all my years working ...

I can't log data, but I've got the LTFT at -1.78. I've had the IS at -2 (smaller injectors, more fuel) for a few months, seems to be the best so far, but still isn't right. I have moved it up and down in the past and left it for a few weeks, but the current set up has been the best so far. I was ...

I'm aware of the K&N oil, so I go lightly. Currently I show no KR and I've shut off the first two TM settings while leaving the upshift reduction. The LTFT are where I want them and I've tried to play with various PE settings. Curiously, I ran the truck today without the predator installed and the ...

Yes, I've also cleaned airfilter, new plugs, fuel filter and I'm running mobil 1 oil in everything I can. the truck runs fine, just seems to bog and not pull well at all. the truck has stock size tires and a 180 degree thermostat. I'm going to pull the predator and try it stock for a while. I can't ...

2003 silverado u7195 w/5.3 absolute dog
My 2003 silverado w/ a K&N CAI, 5.3 and the U7195 is an absolute dog. In second gear the truck just makes noise no real power and gets worse from there. I have the LTFT's at -1.78. I use the 87 tune ( I have tried the 93 for three tanks of gas, but no real improvement). I've had this thing for over ...

2003 chevy silverado bogging/running rich u7195
I've been trying to dial my fuel in for a while now and I'm not having much luck. The truck is 4wd, stock tires, 3:73 gears and has a 5.3 w/ a K+n cold air intake, but otherwise it's stock. The problem I'm having is a low end bog in second and third gear. It feels like its running rich because it ...

downshifting parameters 7195
I was wondering why my 2003 5.3 silverado doesn't like to downshift from 2-1. I have a huge dirt hill road to get to the main road and the truck shifts into second very quickly and then seems to bog instead of downshifting to 1 going up the hill. Where should I set the shift parameters to get it to ...

u7195 parameters question
I was wondering what ranges of voltage I should be looking for in the o2 sensors? I currently have a K@N CAI and am useing the 93 octane tune in my '03 silverado with a 5.3L. I've got the ltfts at -.78% at cruising speed, but what am I looking for at WOT? Also, does the CAI lean the mixture more ...
