Yes, silicone lube is fine.

Re: I2 Oil Life Monitor resets when switching tunes
No, it's the original pcm. It happens when switching between custom tunes or the canned tunes.

I2 Oil Life Monitor resets when switching tunes
2017 Chrysler 300 S V-6 and when I switch tunes the oil life gets reset to 0% and I get an Oil Change Required message. I remember having this problem years ago and it was fixed with one of the updates. Looks like it reared its ugly head again.

Re: PCM connectors. 2022 Chrysler 300
I've dealt with this before. The teeth become disengaged from where they mate with the sliding pieces along the sides of the connector. Spray it down with some silicone lube and use a large flat blade screwdriver to GENTLY pry upward while using the lever to get the locking pieces to slide off.

Re: U0100
I’m not sure if even dealership level tools can clear it. It’s my understanding that code gets permanently set in other modules also like the body control module and maybe others.

Re: U0100
I have an Innova 5610 that shows manufacturer specific codes, I would assume it can clear them too. It won’t clear P1400 though, that one stays no matter what. The only car I’ve seen with P1400 is my 2017 Chrysler 300 S. My 2022 scat pack doesn’t have it, and it never showed up on a bunch of ...

Re: U0100
Yes, and it should clear any codes when you flash the pcm.

Re: U0100
When the tuner is communicating with the pcm it can disrupt communication with other modules on the CAN bus. I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve tuned quite a few vehicles and never had any issues.

Re: U0100
I’ve seen that code after reading a stock tune. When you flash one of the canned tunes or a custom tune it should clear the code.

Re: i3 canned tunes and additional parameters
Don’t run lower octane fuel than what is specified in the tune. In other words, it’s ok to use the 91 tune with 91 or 93 octane fuel. Using 87 with the 91 or 93 octane tunes is not a good idea. You’re likely to get some knock and the PCM will pull spark timing resulting in some loss of power and mpg.

I2 OBD cable
I have an older I2 and when I plug into any 2018+ MOPAR equipped with the bypass cable, the device won’t power up. I even tried connecting through a Z-Automotive double bypass cable and it doesn’t work. My T2 works just fine with the various bypass cables. My I2 has no issues connecting through an ...

Re: Unsupported module, won't tune transmission
Device reads the TCM now but the cal ID is unsupported. When I run the updater I get the unsupported file not found message.
