If I spend 400$ and change on a new tuner, then it still may not work from what you're saying so that's a big gamble to take.

I mean people still own cars and use these tuners.. old or not, so is the car. If it was supposed to work when they were sold it should also work now that's why I was asking.

Hi I recently purchased a predator slp7190 to use on my 2005 corvette. When hooking it up and trying to load the performance tune I'm receiving the message "unable to read p/n of first calibration file" any help with this will be appreciated.

one other ? when the fans do come on it seems like they run constant, could the fan motor be overheating and shutting down from the temps in the tune causing them to come on earlier?

I had a cmr tuner the only one in my area do the dyno tune but seemed as if he usually only tuned manual cars and didnt really have much experience with adjusting auto transmission shifts. He basically left whatever was on the canned diablo tune that came with my vortech kit.

Well out of all the cmr dealers you gave me only one can do any tuning for me but there closed until next march and arent doing any tuning. So would it be safe to reduce the fuel curve by 2% until i can get the car to the tuner? to be on the safe side? isnt there a way that i could data log my car ...

I spoke with bruce at bruces speedworld and he said i could lower the fuel curve 5% globaly from the predator, how does that sound to you guys?

only 2 of those shops tune and both are not even in my state

called kooks in ny they do no tuning at all just sell the tuners

heres a pic of the dyno graph. also the tuner that came with the kit was the u7140, when i had my cold air intake i had the u7145, is this a problem? i thought the u7140's were different then the ones needed for the 07 mustangs?

Thats a problem because i live in nyc and there are no cmr dealers in my area, everyone that tunes uses sct software.
