When I had my car towed to the dealership, the tech (who tunes cars) told me that these tuners are bad news for the 2005+ 'Stangs. Thankfully the computer wasn't fried but needed to be re-programmed. I didn't attempt using it again, I chose to send it back for a full refund. If I do chose to change ...

RE: support on previous post-predetor caused damage
Well, here's my update. I didn't need the PCM replaced, they said the tuner wiped out the computer so there was no tune in the car at all. They were able to get the stock program back into my car and now it's back to the way it was before the tuner was hooked up. I'm still not going to mess with it ...

I have the "no tune" option with the insert that goes in the MAF housing so it'll work without a tune.. was working perfectly for the past 6 months I had it in the car.

No, didn't try that. Don't think that would solve the problem but it's sitting at the dealership now after getting it towed this morning.

RE: support on previous post-predetor caused damage
My car is now sitting at the dealership dead because of an installation gone wrong with the predator. I'm not going to down the tuner but even the guy at the dealership who is familiar with tuners told me that Mustangs aren't too tuner-friendly unless you send out the computer and have someone ...

I didn't attempt to start from fearing what it would do ...

RE: Stock fan settings for a 2005 Mustang GT?
It's 9r03. I also have another inquiry, when starting the car cold it revs up to around 1000-1200rpm for about 3 seconds then drops to about 650-700.. there seems to be no warm up with the tune installed. With the stock program back in, it starts normally. Is there an adjustment for this?

Stock fan settings for a 2005 Mustang GT?
I just recently bought a Predator U7140 tuner and am trying to get the fan settings right.. the fan stays on all the time and never shuts down. I did a search and all I found is I can set it to "whatever' I want. I'm not really comfortable messing around with these settings so I was wondering what ...
