With no other modifications except a FloMaster axle back and a 180 degree thermostat how much HP help is the Predator basic tune file ?

On this thread....... Is it more accurate to program the tire size or the axle ratio if you are running stock size tires?

I always keep my Predator in the car. It's not that big and if I get somewhere and need the car taken to a dealer I can reflash it before they tow it. If you keep it with you you could always do a reflash BUT like the kmac1 said "it's probably something else"

Shift points are based on RPM which is not going to change with a rear ratio change.
Just leave them alone unless you visit a dyno to get the best RPM for shift in each gear.

I believe you will find that your car will not run at all with a C&L intake and NO tune.
I know mine wouldn't. The C&L has a larger MAF than the stock Ford program can accommodate.

How many 'custom tunes' can be loaded at any given time?

Am I only allowed to have one or if I get three from Bamachips can I load them all onto it so I have them readily available for tuning ?

Their latest update 9r03.crom seems to have written to the tuner in such a way that you can not reverse the upgrade. When I tried to load the older version it told me that I was trying to load an old version of the software and I should go to Diablo site to get the latest. If they write an update ...

Any idea on when this software will be available, yet ?

I 2nd the request for a 'tune viewer' except I'd like to have edit capabilities in it. I wouldn't mind it being locked to my U7145 so as to prevent any commercial use but I would like to be able to actually see the tune when I am making changes as opposed to the way we do it now in the tuner itself ...

I'm much better at hacking than cars and I am going to do a file comparison on the CL tune as compared to this one just to see what the difference is. I understand "why" you don't recommend this tune for C&L intakes but on the other Ford forums I certainly will.
