when did the 2003 get the mpg booster tune? when i was still using the tunes on the hand held there wasn't an option for it.

there are a few people on a dodge forum i frequent that have used them with no problems.

You guys should keep trying to make more options for this year rev, speed limit, and idle adjust in particular.

What Revision are you running? It will say on the top when you plug in the unit. It'll be 8rxx or 9rxx. If its an 8r version you need to put your stock backup back on the truck and update the tool.

it will run way better if you match the octane to the tune youre running, you aren't doing yourself any favors by running the 91 octane tune with 87 gas. if anything I recommend using the 91 octane tune with 93 octane gas

if you had a diesel you might see 2-4 mpg. with your truck being a 2500 and having a hemi i doubt you will see little or any mpg improvement. I've been running a predator on my truck for a couple of years and didn't see a good boost in mpgs until I did longtube headers and a custom 91 octane tune.

better chance they will get it cracked for 2011s verses the 2003 idle adjust, rev, and speed limit

i find this very odd since there is no control over the 2003 tcm

There is not a 87 octane tune (at least named like that) I have read here & there (do a serch on the forum) that the MPG booster tune is actually a 87 octane tune if that is the case (I think that Mikel posed that somewere) you will be fine using 87 fuel with that tune.

just make sure you don't change ratio while installing a tune since some people, not all, have had the DSP wipe their ABS info out during that and this requires a dealer reflash. I had the most success changing tire size from the quick adjust menu.

changing gears will not affect your speedo, changing tire size will though and you can adjust for tire size with the DSP tool on the 2003. the speed is read from an independent sensor that reads a tone ring in the axle and changing gears doesn't throw off speedo readings, changing tire height will ...
