RE: Predator Newbie... 2010 Camaro SS/RS Owner...
Welcome Number_9. I have a 2010 SS/RS with the automatic. I'm a newbie too but with the help of Lew and others, I got mine installed and have slowly started to learn some things. The only fuse I pull is the ONstar fuse which is located in the fuse block on the drivers side of the dash. Just open the ...

Possible missfire, can I log for it?
I set my LTFT's this weekend and everything seems to be ok - sorta. I adjusted my LTFT by -6 which from what I understand told the computer my injectors were small so it's dumping more fuel. That would explain why my mpg dropped from low 19mpg to mid 16mpg. Does this sound correct? Also, I took it ...

Spark Advance?
I did some logging yesterday to adjust my LTFT's. After logging the data I stopped by my dads house to crunch the numbers and re-tune the car. I was showing everything to my dad who is an old school engine builder, or at least used to be and he was asking me about the spark advance. My log showed an ...

RE: LTFT Help and other stuff!
when logging for WOT, do I hold it in one gear and just run it up to red line or do I let it run through the gears?

LTFT Help and other stuff!
Hi all,
Did my first Log yesterday to adjust my LTFT's. DSLogRedux told me to adjust by a -6%. Did all that and all is fine. So here's my question: My 1st bank value was 6.3 and my 2nd bank value was 5.4. I only saw that I could make one change with the predator, so did the one setting change both ...

Exlpain CMR tune?
HI all,
New to all this tuning stuff so I have a question regarding CMR tuning and the Diablo. If I get a CMR tune done at a tuning shop, will they use my Diablo and will the final tune be stored on the diablo? Will I still be able to (although it may not be advised) put the factory tune back in ...

RE: Fan control
in the hemi's we got gains by keeping the timing from retarding as it did when the engine was hotter. You don't think we can get the same gain on the chevy engine? I was hoping this was something I could use the predator to log some data on and see if I got the same results.

Fan control
So i was dinking around with the modify tune stuff and was looking at the fan speed settings. I know on the SRT8 (what I used to own), it was common to put in a 180 degree thermostat. Along with that mod, the fans would have to be reprogrammed to keep the engine temps down that low during city ...

OK, I've looked and even tried to figure it out on my own, and short of Department Of Defense I can't figure out DOD is and why people feel the need to turn it off. Anyone wanna help a dumb homey out?
