any update for the 07 tune?

Can the U7191 be used on my new 07 GP GXP? I did alittle searching and am I correct by saying that this device can program the PCM so the motor stays a v8 instead of it switching between v8 and v4? Also, don't laugh but is there a tune so the car can only run as a 4 banger? You know for those days ...
