I'm just looking for rational as to how the AAT always starts out reading much colder than true ambient but yet with time, it always eventually reads the correct AAT. Because of consistant repeatability, it doesnt't sound like a broken sensor.
I don't believe the ECM uses the AAT data for any of its ...

The ambient air temp the day I referrenced was 82 degrees F. The readings the Predator was displaying from 59 degrees up to 81 degrees were erroneous and incorrect. The true ambient temp that day was 82 degrees so even though I have a "cold air intake system", it's not efficient enough to cool ...

I would like to backup my factory tune (02 camaro) that is stored on my predator (U7198) onto my computer. I have read the sticky about predator to PC interface and transferring files. RE: Re: RE: Hard part throttle shifting after a power run
You need to transfer your stock tune file and the tune file of the tune you are now running from the predator to your home computer by using the downloader software. Then you post your tune files here and the guys at Diablo will fix your tune files and then email them back to you for your use.

RE: Help adjusting PE on WOT.
I would dare say that the only way you could not experience KR running 87 octane fuel in an engine tuned for 93 octane is that the ECM already discovered the low octane fuel prior to the logged run and has shifted the timing to match the low octane table.

Re: datalogging question
hey there, I did another log on the weekend ( the second one) and I was just wondering if this unit uses the same file number/name every time or it gives it a new one.
When I downloaded it from the unit it had the same file name and when I ran it through the DSLOGREDUX it said to make the same ...

Come on Lew, he just wants to understand what he's doing.
Sierra, when you adjust your injector slope, you're not actually enriching or leaning out the system because the computer is always going to compensate to keep the correct AFR. The fuel trim values are showing you how far the computer is ...

DSlogRedux only takes into consideration the log you use to do the analysis. If your most recent log was used and DSLogRedux says -6, then you go -6 from your current setting.

Re: WOT log and PE on U7193 predator
I have a 2004 Silverado Z71 4wd. Predator #U7193. Did a WOT log today using the predator and laptop running the dataviewer software. Got done and it gave me adjustments of -2% in the low range rpm and -3% in the high range rpm. I did the adjustments and am sad to say that i have not noticed any ...
