RE: HELP!..can
I found the problem, plastic stuck in intake not allowing throttle control. Had to come from plastic intake after MAF. It had been very hot here, over 100, so I don't know if that with the engine heat caused the material seem to fail or what, but I can find nowhere else for it to have come from. I ...

RE: HELP!..can
I too am sure it's not a tune issue, as I said it remained after codes were cleared and factory backup was reinstalled. Thanks for the input. The $185 is kinda average here. Talked to several shops close to the trucks location and the low was $160, one wanted over$200. Since I cant't drive it over ...

RE: HELP!..can
Thanks Mike, I am thinking broken circuit somewhere because of the sudden onset. Loose wire, busted clip or something. Sound likely? I didn't see anything that was obvious. I posted because shop labor here is $185 an hour and I figured that the people on here had to be pretty familiar with these ...

HELP!..can't get over 1500 RPM
I was on the road today and I heard a chime like low fuel indicator and the check engine light came on, had to limp in the last mile at less than 1500 RPM! Nothing I did would up the revs. Display reads reduced engine power. I was running on my normal tune, so I cleared the codes and tried it again ...

Should I try and get less load change and throttle pos.? Damn hills and traffic! Have made no adjustments ...

trim a CSV file for redux?
How can I trim a file so that it has the right parameters for redux? I have an old log I'd like to run, but i made it before I had any idea of what to do, so it has everything on it for over 30 min. Is it possible to trim it down? I tried to load it to redux and the error message said trim or record ...

RE: 05 chevy p/u
Thanks Mike, I'm new to all this and the MonteSS guy seems to be pretty well respected on here so I was a little concerned that I may have to correct the issue. My set up it almost straight until the 90 degree attachment point. MAF is about a foot before that. I guess I won't worry to much about it ...

RE: 05 chevy p/u
Ok, I'll show my limited knowledge. Why? I do know that it was supposed to reduce turbulent air flow over the sensor, but thats about it. So why is it important and what effects will not having one produce?

RE: 05 chevy p/u
My friend ripped my screen out too while I was working on something else. I didn't see it as a huge issue and did nothing about it. Is it really going to matter?
