Mine does this on my 06 Dodge cummins once in awhile. I have to cycle the key and unplug and plug the trinity back in. Usually it will then recognize my truck. Not sure why it does it, but would curious to know why.

Has any one had luck with this solving the surging? I'm either not changing the settings right or its not working. I've had to start plugging my truck in for fear of damaging something.

When I enable this do I return to the main screen and cycle the key or stay on the quick adjust/performance tune screen? When I exit all the way it asks if I want to cancel my tune. How do I know if the settings were accepted? For future updates this would be a good place to have some on-screen ...

I see this feature in the quick adjust menu. Does this need to be selected and reflash the modified tune I am using?
