Just received my i-1000 and went through the hour long update process. Then tried to tune/write vehicle and process fails with error message:

Failed to read ECM Original Backup, Error Code = 16

Car is 2013 Chevy Suburban 5.3l engine. Programmer serial number is X000IVUL3D

Newbie also - just got U7194 on Thursday. Came loaded with r911. Updated it to r913 (on a Win 7 machine no problems) and installed this morning on an 09 Suburban 5.3l. Installed 87 octane tune with DoD disabled - so far it works great. I'll report back in a week or so on mileage, perforamnce, etc.

do NOT update any 7194 predator to the 9r11 or 9r12 revisions, period!

they are making some big changes to them, and will not work with all 7194 predators...

if it's on 9r08, or 9r10 already, leave it alone... do not try to update to r11 or r12! Just received my 7194. It has 9r11 installed. Haven ...
