Buck im loving the extreme tune! so far no real issues. I have noticed my first strartup of the day revs the motor real high for a split second. Sounds like someone starting a gas motor with thier foot to the floorboard. Before the key snaps back it goes down. Is the tune???

i got the extreme tune from buck today, all i can say is WOW!!!! That is the tune i have been waiting for! I havent ran it much but it impressed me so much i felt the need to respond immediately. so i just made a 250 mile round trip up central california, the same trip i made a few weeks ago on the performance tune. Wierd, but the perf tune got 17.4 MPG on the highway, and today the same trip on the econ tune i got 15.2 MPG.
I tried to keep the speedometer between 70-75 mph both trips. After ...

So i have noticed that my boost on the perf tune only hit about 24 psi, but the economy will go to 30 psi or more sometimes. This seems a liitle backwards??????

well two weeks now on the hot tune. Gas mileage has not changed, feels like a little more power, but not what i was hoping for. I will now run the economy and tow tunes to see the difference. I will keep u updated.

got it in! Can i ask what areas you guys are trying to improve? Will be "seat of the pants?" Gas mileage? Options for tire sizes? I am hoping for noticeable differances but all trucks are different.

well, according to tech support, the old man had put a tune in the truck at some point. Original backup is a tune!!! This may explain my horrible gas millage of 12 on the highway. So i am off to the dealer to have pcm reflashed so i can use my preadator.

I just bought a used 7165 and updated it before i used it.
When i try to load a program, it says " original backup appears to be tune"
I just bought the truck from an old man who bought it brand new. I doubt he tuned it, so what does this mean?

So i have playing with my fuel trims, but bank 1 is 3 points lower than bank 2. Is this normal? What causes this.
