I was running the extreme tune, and no I don't have studs, but my warranty covers head gaskets and when they do go it will get studded. So I am anxious to run this extreme tune of bucks that everyone is talking about as well.

It shows the cal ID which is the current flash on your vehicle. When the predator boots up go to diagnostics then it should say show cal ID or calibration ID that is the current ford flash that is in the entire computer system on your truck.

There is no better update you have to roll back all of your computers before you can go back to an older crom. Thats what everyone is having trouble with.

If your Cal ID is not a 9 version have someone send you an older Crom file and go back to the good Stuff.

Best advice I can give you is don't go to a later revision. You will lose your power and your fuel mileage. You said its a 6 speed, just baby it around in town, easy on the throttle and don't let it bog down. If you update to a newer revision you will lose the smoke but you will also lose the power ...
