yes you can. you can hold 5+ custom tunes on it.

use the "trinity browser" tab in the DS downloader software

turn the key on.
plug the tool in and wait for it to boot up.
on the main screen click on scan tool
then you should be about to click obd codes
then you should be able to click read codes

Did the truck throw any codes or wrench lights when this happened? can you plug the tool in and check and see if there is any memory codes in there? please
