RE: Catch can
Mike,
Would that apply to the '06 Jeep Commander hemi as that is the engine that they retro'd in my '06 Wrangler? It seems to have the exact same design.

RE: Catch can
I can't seem to find the hose at all. A friend of mine just bought a 2007 ram with a hemi and there is no hose to be found on that engine either. I've been reading that the hose might be internal to the engine? If that's the case, is there really a need for a catch can on those engines?

RE: CAI or not?
I just bought this two weeks ago. The pics will have to wait as there is about 11" of snow here in Michigan!

RE: CAI or not?
One thing that I don't lack is power. With a good hole shot, I can lift the front tires off the ground, so I am wondering if this is really an issue or not.

Catch can
Mike,
I bought a 2006 Jeep Wrangler X that has a hemi in it from a 2006 Commander.
I bought a catch can for it but I'm wondering if I really need it as the PVC line comes directly out of the air induction cowling and right back into the oil fill spout. I've included a picture that looks alot ...

RE: CAI or not?
Problem is that it is in a Jeep Wrangler and I don't have a lot of spare room.

CAI or not?
From the link below (which is pretty close to my set up as far as the air intake goes), would I benefit from installing a K&N CAI to the engine?

RE: TPMS affected by Predator
Mike,
I cannot as I have used it now on another vehicle. If there is another way to get it, I will try and get that for you.

RE: TPMS affected by Predator
I have checked the pressure as well as the spare and they were all at least 3-4 lbs above recommended pressure.
This is definitely the fault of Predator device or the crom file. If it's the crom, then the error was in the last two versions.

TPMS affected by Predator
I was told that the Predator could not affect my TPMS because they were two different control units.
However, when I unmarried the Predator to our 2007 Jeep GC and put back the original tune on it, the the low tire icon went away and no more messages about low tire pressure.
Just wanted to post ...

RE: Changing vehicles
One other question with all of this......since the tunes come with a lot of options for automatic transmissions, this Jeep has a 6 speed manual transmission out of a Liberty and the engine is out of a 2008 Commander (PCM is out of a 2003 Dodge 3/4 ton), so all I really want to do is put a 93 octane ...

RE: Changing vehicles
I found out that the engine they dropped in came out of a '08 Commander.
