Re: Slow Throttle response with "Diablo Tune" 93 Octane
I was wondering if anyone had a response to this post? I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 and am also getting the strange surge when first taking off and then my Jeep falls on its face and has no pull in 2nd or 3rd and then pulls again after that. Kind of getting the same "fishbite" I used to ...

Re: Slow Throttle response with "Diablo Tune" 93 Octane
did you reset parameters?
Did you add throttle booster to the 91 tune?
My very first tune was with the canned 91 Octane choice with no other adjustments (don't even know what the throttle boost option is) From there after you confirmed the Diablo Tune was 93, which is what I really wanted, I ...

Slow Throttle response with "Diablo Tune" 93 Octane
Just changed the tune from 91 octane to Diablo Tune (next up from 91 on the screen) which should be 93. The test drive wasn't as impressive as the 91. Reloaded the Diablo tune again and it seemed much better but the throttle response seemed slower. The 91 seemed to set me back in the seat a little ...

Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
mikel, thanks for the reply. When I get home obviously I will go back to the tool and double check the tune names, and re-flash. My suggestions still stand on modifying the installation screens to be consistent with our equipment.

Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
I installed the 87 tune without any problems. It's a little weird to go through the key cycles and the vehicle doesn't shut off while the tune is loading. Also the "no buS" on the display is curious. As a note, maybe DS should consider doing a quick video to show people what to expect. The throttle ...

I would agree. How is your truck and what tune are you dialed in at?TerrysRam wrote:Wow. That's horrible. So sorry to read this. I would think DS would foot the bill simply out of customer service and what word of mouth could do.
Please keep us updated and good luck!

Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
The saga continues. Diablo Sport couldn't reflash my ecu and had to replace it. It got here a day later than promised so I was out of town for work when it showed up. Got home last night and installed the new ecu. Truck started right up but would not respond to throttle. Evidently the etc ...

Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
Guys, there is no requirement for a 180 thermostat for the 93 tune or any tune of that matter. The tunes diablo rights are set for the factory 200 deg thermostat. If you install one you will need to lower all fan temps 20 degrees lower than the current setting. The thermostat does help keep the ...

Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
Wait wait wait. What? So if we run the 93 we should expect a knocking if we don't have the 180 therm?
Beats the heck out of me. Poster "Psantoro" indicated he received a 180 thermostat bundled with his DCX. He has a 2012 Challenger srt so maybe the smaller rad (if on that model it is smaller than ...

Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
Back the truck up! Been reading some other threads and I saw that someone received a DCX bundled with a 180 degree thermostat for 93 Octane tune. I'm currently set at 91 octane but intended to go to 93, but now this info is just adding more doubt to this DCX mystery. Anyone read or know anything ...

Re: inTune I1000-DCX Problems (2012 Ram)
its getting so much fuel its blowing it out the exhaust!!!
If you have fuel coming out the exhaust I'd be checking my oil for fuel contamination. Only ever saw that once in my lifetime but it was a result of a flooded carb. Yeh I know whats a carb. Back in the 50's and 60's that's what we had and ...

update is released, please update and start over.
