Ive had the tuner for almost two years and updated to the new version the day it came out... and have never had a problem. I get my tunes from Mike at tuningsuperstore.com

that happened when I first tuned my mustang. It sucked. Every time i came to a stop the car would die, and when I would hit the clutch the RPM would shoot up. This is a post I did a while back to someone who was experiencing the same problem you are having.

I recommend 4.10 gears then Ford Racing hot rod performance camshafts... Horrible gas mileage with the camshaft.. ~15mpg w/ 93 octane tune; from what i hear... Probably around that with the 91 octane as well.

either way, definitely the 4.10 gears first.

I dnt recommend you change anything other than whatever ur choices are for rev limiter, speed limiter and traction.

it has C&L tune in it but it's the older ver. of the predator.

im no expert at any of this but from everything I've read in these forums I believe that having the cats and the sensors now does make a significant difference. My suggestion is that you get your custom tune changed to match everything you have now.

I have the C&L "Racer" intake (black housing). that+tune will be way greater than your BBK+tune.

you should go with the C&L. you'll just have to put the older crom version on the tuner so it can have the C&L canned tune on the predator (new version doesn't ...

just to get some things clear, you said you got an intake that did not require a tune, but you still tuned the car?

I feel you should revert to the original stock tune, and see if you experience the problem with the intake in.

my lady has a laptop with windows vista and it didn't work. then I went to my desktop with XP and it worked. are you using the power adapter?? the serial cable won't alone power the tuner.

maybe he raised the rev limiter and is getting that little extra rpm band? Or he is using a custom tune while you're using the tune that came with the diablosport.

SCT makes their tunes with Bama Custom Tunes, while Diablosport uses their own Diablosport Tunes... Both companies are different and ...

I dont know much... but I was having the same problem with my 05 mustang GT with the RPM being wild..

I made sure all the clamps were tight and everything sealed. I used MAF Sensor cleaner spray to clean the MAF sensor, and then I took off the Throttle Body and used a spray cleaner for that as well ...
