It is locked to his truck,not mine.

I bought a tuner from my brother inlaw,it is locked to his vehicle.

It is a U7198,
Vbios 6.01,version 1.03 and the factory tune is still installed.

there is no serial no. on the outside of the unit but i've got the serial # from the display when i plugged the tuner into my truck.Is this serial ...

The tuner I am looking at is not from ebay, it is from a private sale.The owner has sold the truck.Not sure why he wouldn't have put the stock tune back in.

Anyways, are there any specific questions i can ask him before i buy it to tell if it can be unlocked.
