Re: Trinity Unstable

Removed the WB pids and still had the same issue.

Borrowed a friends brand new Trinity, exported my gauge layout to SD card, and imported on his Trinity (unmarried of course). Hooked it up to my car and lock ups galore.

Trinity Unstable

I have recently updated my Trinity to CROM 1r13g in order for it to see the data from my 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat A8.

I'm experiencing a couple of problems, the biggest of which is frequent lockups by the device. The screen just freezes and you have to unplug and replug in the device for it to ...

No fix for this from everything I've read. That code stays in the car indefinitely.

Open two logs for compare in Dataviewer?

I often find myself making small tweaks to either timing, AFR, or both at the track. I log every run to see how those adjustments changed things.

However, I get an error trying to open two instances of Dataviewer on my computer.

Is there a way to look at two logs simultaneously to compare them or ...

GM 3BAR MAP output to Trinity for boost?

My 2009 Challenger has a map clamp to allow me to run more than 14.5psi of boost. We've found this is required on 6 speed cars or the PCM shuts the car down as it approaches 14.5psi.

Because of this, my data logs cut boost off at my map clamp limit of 14.5psi.

I want to be able to log actual boost ...

I installed and get an error when it tries to launch.

"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Pleae see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

Re: Another victim of Challenger Throttle Lag after Update

Nothing on this? I've had two tuners work on this for over a year to no avail. We need to make the Trinity work with the 05187899AE CAL as it is FAR superior to the 05187899AG CAL from a drivability stand point. The lag makes the car MUCH less enjoyable.

I finally went back to the Predator, again ...

Missing PIDs in Trinity

I am missing some PIDs from my Trinity that we're looking for to resolve a throttle issue. According to the Trinity PID List these should be available.

Under Throttle:
-Accelerator Pedal Position
-Change in Pedal Position Voltage above it's Minimum Threshold

I see these when I connect my laptop ...

Re: Another victim of Challenger Throttle Lag after Update

I wanted to bump this one back up again. I was hopeful that some of these new tuning options that have opened up might have allowed this issue to be resolved.

I've had my PCM flashed back to gone back to 05187899ae and use the Predator for tune loads until this can be resolved. Since I am unable to ...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Another victim of Challe

Welp, looks like this is more complicated and going to take time to resolve. I'm yanking my PCM today and mailing it back to my tuner to get it flashed back to where it was and I'll just go back to using the Predator until this issue is solved.

If I get news I'll update this thread down the road ...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Another victim of Challenger

For the record, my original CalID was 05187899AE, and the "new-and-UNimproved" CalID is 05187899AG.

This is the exact same CALIDs I had. AE worked great, AG had the problem.

I still haven't found resolution yet.

I'm going to give it a bit more time, then will have my PCM flashed back to AE and ...
