Will removing the HDMI cable from the head unit be the same as removing the connection from the OBD port? My intention is to save my battery when I wont be using my car for a while.

I've been disconnecting from the OBD port to stop the battery from draining if I store my car for a while.

Started my Challenger 2019 Scat this morning and all is well. Waited for my Trinity 2 to finish booting up and it seems stuck on the "Trinity EX" boot logo. Restarted the car and the same thing. I then realized I was starting to be late for work so I decided to just drive and wait for the Trinity 2 ...

Is it safe to use an OBDLink MX+ dongle with AlfaOBD in place of the T2 to access other configurations on the vehicle? I have an unlocked PCM on a Scat Pack Challenger 2019. I intend to just pull the HDMI cable and insert the dongle on top of the security cable.
