Is there any way to load a previous version?

Is there a way to try all the different versions then pick the one that we think works best? Every situation is different as for me the truck is used mostly for towing, so I'm looking for gains there, and the 9r11 does not cut it.

Recently updated to ver 9r11 is there anway to get the previous version back (9r07) because I could maintain the speed and even accelerate up hills.
