Re: RE: Correcting Hard Shifting
Hello, Mike. I screwed up restoring backup tune and lost the custom tune Johan wrote 4 years ago. Is there any chance I can get it fixed again? Or is trade in the only option?

RE: Re: RE: 2000 silverado
Got back from 1900 mile round trip to the Black Hills towing a 2000 lb. pop up. Averaged around 16 mpg. pulling at 60-65 mph. Best tank was 17+ mpg. Using 87 to 89 octane with the 93 tune very little KR(2*) with most of the fuel out west. Got a piss poor batch in Wisconsin pushing the KR to 7 at ...

RE: Correcting Hard Shifting
Well Mike, the last tune Johan wrote installed fine. No hard shifting at part throttle, he says he left the part throttle shifting stock. My question to you is will I be able to adjust shift pressure during part throttle and is the TM permanently on all the time.

RE: LTFT and PE Adjustment
I also have a Series 2 v2.12 Predator. I use a MAFT set at 5%-10% rich to do most of my adjustment across the board. My idle LTFT's are -10.94 with slope adjusted to -1%, at cruise 1900 rpm LTFT's at 0% to -1.56%. Reading O2 milivolts around 900mv is close to 12.8:1 AFR. AFR readings from Predator ...

RE: 99 silverado LTFT, U7198
Just a ballpark, every engine is different and the conversion seems to vary from mv to AFR with different devices and exhaust temps. Seems to be a narrow band in image. accurate from .800v-.400v

Maf Translator for LS1 based engines new here http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/ItemDesc.asp?IC=050LS1TRANS
I found mine used on LS1tech.com in 06' for $75 There was a web page back then that showed how to splice it in the truck harness. If you get one I'd try to get a used one. I can go over the ...

RE: 99 silverado LTFT, U7198
Those gutted cats made it leaner too. These guys might say if you don't have any leaks get a custom tune but I'd try to get a old MAF Translator and splice it in your MAF harness. Set it at +15%. If your LTFT's are negative when you go full throttle you can adjust with the Predator WOT fueling % to ...

RE: 99 silverado LTFT, U7198
Sorry they were smaller in 99' and yes that would mean leaner or needing to add more fuel (more positive LTFT's) in closed loop.
