My truck has never been to a dealer and my tool is a U7165 with 7r80 on it. What do you mean updated bootloader? Is that the cable ports so that you can plug into your PC., if so the tool has that also. My concern, question, or info I was trying to get was how long have people been running ...

Thanks, Should I be worried about blowing a head gasket if I use the Predator programer? Do you know what kind of pressure is generated with the 7r80 tune? Is the tune just a timing and trany shift point change? I know that the 6.0 is very senstive to heat and pressure.

What verision did you start with or was the 8r10 in the Predator when you brought it? I have verision 7r80 and I'm nervous to update to any of the newer programs. Reading other postings it sounds like I may run into problems going to another verision. Do you have any mods or running stock ...
