So just that I understand the process (sorry I’m new to this) to change to the 40hp Towing tune, from the 65hp economy tune, do I need to change back to the stock (backup) tune first? And then put the 40hp Towing tune on?

I a,m looking a getting a Pedator tuner for my 04 F350, but the recommended weight limitations of 8,000 Lbs. is less that my 5th Wheel Trail. Is it still ok to use this setting?
