DV 2 dash boards

Just trying the new DV2 I’m having a strange issue. I have 4 EAS sensors, they are AFR / BOOST / Water Meth and fuel pressure.
I can create and play the file created by the tool, I save the dashboard, but when I open a recording using that layout it always shows 2 AFR and two BOOST, I noticed there ...

Re: AEM wideband and EAS cables

Actually I’m not sure if it will let you but you could also try to lower the upper boundary v
For example if you get 4.5 v change that instead, it is definitely a scaling issue not the T2

Re: AEM wideband and EAS cables

On your Trinity. Your gauge is actually an controller connected right to your wide band so it is correct.
The white wire carries a 5 v signal.
If you want to check to confirm, turn the ignition to the run position the sensor will heat up and when it is ready will read full lean witch is 5v.
You can ...

Re: AEM wideband and EAS cables

You need to measure the voltage, yes the sensor is 5 volts but if it was reading 4.5 volts which is possible, that would mean you need to adjust your upper scale if the documentation said 0=10 and 5 = 20 but you are getting actually 4.5 let’s say change it to 18 and see what it reads, I like to ...

Re: AEM wideband and EAS cables

I’m curious about the calibration screw on the gauge. What does the T2 read at idle, and what does the AEM gauge read at idle

Re: EAS digital or analog gauge name

Has anybody has this problem ?
Also if you change from analog to digital or the reverse of that you get a error. It doesn’t matter if it was recorded to tool or streamed to laptop
Just curious if that is a possible cause of not displaying EAS as a digital gauge properly.

EAS digital or analog gauge name

If you load a E.A.S. Pid as a analog gauge it displays the sensor name that you created on the tool.
But if you select a digital gauge it will name it universal A or B and so on, It will not let me edit this.
Anyway to fix this.
Thanks

Re: AEM wideband and EAS cables

Did the installer use the white analog signal wire ? If not it should be used over the blue one. it’s a 5 volt analog signal
0 v = 10
5 v = 20 for gasoline

Re: Data Viewer 3.4.4.16 and 17

Actually the new update on update agent fixed recording on the tool.
On boot up it said a pid was removed and it would search for a advanced pid to replace it.
Is it possible there was a incorrect pid that caused it ?
Data viewer has been fine for me except if you change from analog gauge to digital ...

Re: Data Viewer 3.4.4.16 and 17

I see there is a new update version, 1.68.51112.29778. would this be something of a fix for me ? or should I wait till you are able to find a fix for my problem.
Seems every time I update I lose a function, my gauges work fine, just can not save logged data on the tool.

Re: Data Viewer 3.4.4.16 and 17

I don't get it every thing was working and recording before I ran update agent, at that time Data viewer was the problem, and now data viewer is fine.
re read my post for Update agent, in the Trinity 2 section. Things went bad from there.
