RE: Let me know if Like It
I am going to bump this once. This was not a trick post. I am trying to decide whether or not to run the predator I already own. 25 people have read this and only jack250hdsd is happy with his predator .
My request again is this:
If you are happy with your predator and problem free, please take a ...

Let me know if Like It
I am hoping the moderators will allow this. I have a predator I got from the seller when I bought my 06 350 PSD. I have removed all the tunes and am running stock because frankly I am afraid of it. Without alot of detail would users that are happy with their predators and using them without problems ...

Can I save a copy of factory backup from my diablo to my PC?
I searched the forum and can't find the steps. I see references to copies of factory backups saved from the predator to the pc, but, can't find the steps. I have an 06 6L PSD F350. Like all things with computers it just seems like a good idea to store the original ford tune in a second location ...

predator with a cal id AMZ2AL12?
I have a predator for my 06 6.0 psd. I went to the diagnostics and got a cal ID that I swear says AMZ2AL12. Can this be right. The sticker on the back says 2005 6.0. The boot up has predator and v.7r84. I got a vxcf1d6.hex as well. Some more info off the unit is ser# 20010d9. Load 1009282455.

RE: Re: Is the Predator too Aggressive, dumping coolant all
My dealer service department saw puking and low coolant. He told me that the dealer would do the egr cooler, headgaskets, new headbolts (have to do that for the headgaskets anyway). He said the Headbolts were a factory torque issue. He said the headgasket caused the puking and that if you do the ...

RE: Re: predator on
I got an 06 350 4x4 34,900 with a predator on a private sale. I took it directly to the dealer for a bumper to bumper check up. It needed headgaskets and a new egr cooler. The dealership service manager says the headgasket is secondary to the headbolts. He said the headbolts are a factory torque ...

tow/haul button and the 40HP Towing tune
This may be too generic for the Diesel Forum, but, here goes. I have an F350 6.0 PSD 4X4 2006 AUTO-TRANS. Any problems with "stacking" the 40HP Towing Tune on top of pressing the TOW/HAUL button on the Transmission Shift arm? I asked the dealer about what the tow haul did and was told that the ...

RE: Re: RE: Re: Head Gasket, Head Bolts, EGR Cooler and the
I talked to my "service rep" and they will install them as part of the head r&r for no additional cost. The kicker is that the new studs will NOT be warrantied and any subsequent damage related to the "not covered" head studs will not be covered by warranty either. He did say that anything engine ...

I posted this within a reply, but, it is more useful than that. I am new to this site, but, maybe this will help "pay the freight" for all the help I have gotten. RE: Re: RE: Identification of my Predator Unit and other dum
:? Thanks Mike, but you have just surpassed all my knowledge. I just meant "what happens if I load the tune"? I have tried the 40 and the 65 hp tunes. Each is significantly different both from the factory backup and each other. I havn't loaded the 100 hp because based on advice from this site it ...
