I am having this exact same problem on a late '06 with an 8.1.... anybody have an answer? The last time I had this much trouble with a customers vehicle was back in '03 or '04 on a duramax..............the washer fluid was low.

Hi Mike. I am having very similar issues. I just went through the 9r12 deal on a customers 7186 tool. I finally got a 9r11 download in it, and it updated fine. I put in customers truck ('06 or '07) and now it starts right up and then dies. Will the 9t12e fix this? thanks for any help.

Thanks for the download. 9r11 worked fine in my customers tool. Like so many others on here I tried upgrading to the 9r12 before reading the forums.... The same thing happened to me with a 7170 several years back and its still sitting here on the shelf, I havent ever gotten around to sending it into ...
