U7198 upgrade, RMA & total cost
Having recently learned that my U7198 is upgradeable I'd like to know a few things before applying for the upgrade.
The upgrade appears to cost $100 + shipping both ways. I saw a post where DiabloSport charged $29 to ship the unit back. I'm in the North Eastern US, is this what I can expect to pay ...

RE: ls1 to ls6 need help asap
I've been through this myself but the difference is that I swapped heads and cam to convert my LS1 to the LS6. Essentially the heads/cam and intake before 2001 are the only significant mechanical differences. The ECMs are the same, the only difference is the tune within and the embedded VIN which ...

By "room" do you mean within the handheld's parameter data tables or just the range of adjustment ... Still confused, sorry.

Re: RE: installing headers question?
Lew, what is the reason for this? Is it that LTs require so much adjustment that moving the trims to their maximum still isn't enough with the stock program? I've often wondered why my H/C can't be tuned with the predator....06MonteSS wrote:no, you can not adjust anything for the headers using the predator alone

Tech support here is stretched between all the forums. I'll guess you'll get a reply from someone shortly.
Like Stevens07, I couldn't get a simple reply from Crane so bought my predator. That first impression only happens once.

RE: 2000 camaro will not sift into four
I thought the A4 didn't shift into 4th at open throttle by design.
I'll have to edit this reply; I've never gone fast enough to have my 4L60E shift into 4th at open throttle. I would think that would have to be in excess of 130 mph or so.

Re: formula for LTFT's
or do you know the size of fuel injectors for 4.8 LS1 engine 2001?
The LS1 has a displacement of 5.7 liters and the factory injectors for 2001 is 26 pounds per hour.
I truly don't mean any offense here but if you are mistaken about the designation or displacement of your engine, formulating fuel ...

where can i purchase a reliable wideband? Is that the same as a air fuel ratio meter??
Because you asked the 2nd question you should think of this first; you need to research the whole wideband topic so you don't buy something you'll regret. A/F wideband kits are no longer terribly expensive but ...
