Common issues when the CMR tuner raises the Maximum Input TQ vs Gear < TQ Limitations < Tables

If it is to high it will cause the vehicle to stay in one gear or not want to shift.

May not be the case but if he has adjusted them ask for them to be set to stock to see.

I recently installed the basic 91 octane CAI tune on my 2010 SRT8 6.1l 6-speed challenger and immediately noticed I couldn't exceed 4000 rpm when in any gear. I've been toying around with it and cannot find a resolution. Anybody familiar with this?

I would recommend setting the car back to stock ...

Here you go man, this should take care of that issue. Adjusted the fan settings for you.

Set it to 101 C or 213.8 F and it will cycle and not run constantly. Or I edited that for you in the below tune.

Do logging and find out what it prefers. Elevation can allow for lower octane and a higher octane tune.

Yes the InTune DCX or Trinity T-1000

It can only be done via custom tuning.

Yes shift firmness can be adjusted in the tune and more TQ management removed. But you have to be careful since they are set where they were to preserve the trans. Added line pressure will firm the shifts up a little with no detriment to the trans life.

Best mod will be a converter without a doubt.

Actually at the track times tell another story even when bone stock.

Trinity's often read slower ET then it would run at the track.

Also the 93 canned tune is ok at best.
