RE: Data Log Delete

When I do my log, do I choose "fast data" or "slow data"? Do you need "long term fuel trim bank 2"? 2000 Sierra 4.8 with 2 cats going into 3" then dual out of Magnaflow. Also I notice a "lreset" what's that about? I choose this while the truck was running and the fuel gauge went to empty even though ...

RE: Data Log Delete

Thanks for the reply. Just getting familiar with the tools before I contact you about the custom tune. Won't be able to do it until the roads clear of snow. We got another 8" today. Makes it impossible to do any WOT runs. The tires keep braking loose.

Data Log Delete

How do you delete a data log stored in the Predator? I was playing around with it and logged an event that is not needed. Getting ready to log for a custom tune and don't want this meaningless log.

Thanks,

Temp and humidity effect things quite a bit. I have a "winter" tune and a "summer" tune and usually change when things get below -10C

So will a CMR tuner charge per tune and will they do a couple for you (spring and summer tunes)? If you had to pay for each tune if would probably be better to ...

RE: question about getting 9R01 or newer update?????

I'm a novice at this but I think the only way you can update to the newer revision is to send the tool back in to Diablosport. Cost is $99.

I be in contact with you when the tuner arrives. Basically looking for the best gas mileage and most performance I can squeeze from the 4.8l. You might get a little surprise when you see the ambient temp. is at -30F (if you collect that info?).

Thanks for the reply. So would there be an improvement on a slightly modified 4.8l over the predator tuner.

OOPS! Sorry I thought they were free. How would someone know they could benefit from a custom tune before they spent $105? I would assume that major changes like cam and head changes would call for a custom tune but would a slightly modified truck with duals and cold air intake benefit? Also can the ...

Let me us know when you get your BB tune installed and how it compares. In trying to decide between the two.

Predator or Black Bear Performance Tune?

I thinking of buying a Pedator to tune my 2000 Sierra 4.8l auto 2WD but most on the forum I frequent say hand held tuners are a waste of cash and get a custom tune. Would the end result be on par with a Black Bear tune? I like the idea of being able to "play" with the Pedator and still get custom ...
