RE: is the 9r07 better then the r18 tune?
I would agree that 9r07 is probably better than r18 as I remember it. I know 9r07 is better than 9r05 and I like 9r05, with the exception of a slower launch. The 9r07 has a much better launch, improved my MPG by 1-2 MPG on my 38-mile drive to work, and (in my opinion) the shifts feel better/cleaner ...

RE: Re: 9R02 - Shifting behavior changed on my 08 R/T
Well, I updated to 9r04 finally and the firm shifts are back. I started a new thread (here's the link http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=7106) with more info for all that have had this issue. It's just my opinion and experience, but I'm happy with 9r04 for the most ...

My 2006 5.7 and the 9r04
Well, I finally and reluctantly took the plunge and put my faith in Diablo after several frustrating months of shifting issues with r20. I updated my calid and loaded the 9r04 last night.
Prior to last night, I had been complaining and providing constructive feedback to DiabloSport in hopes of ...

I care, but I'd care more if your car was a 2006 5.7, as we've seemed to have establish that this is more 2006 5.7 specific. I'm happy for you, though.bob34787 wrote:if anyone cares my 07 daytona goes like a bat out of hell, 1-2 and 2-3 shifts are great. I am running r04 with mode 2 and 6400 shift points

Re: RE: Fuel Rich/Gas Mileage
I'm new at this so I don't mean to sound dumb guys but how do you do different adjustments to the programmer

RE: Fuel Rich/Gas Mileage
It should be interesting to hear from DiabloSport on this, too. I have 2006 Charger RT, 5.7 Hemi with AFE CAI, JBA Hi_Flow mids, and Corsa Cat-Back. I'm running the 91CAI tune with no added fuel. Car runs strong and I get 19 in the city and 26MPG on the highway with the cruise set at 70MPH! I drive ...

I have a 2006 Charger with a 5.7 Hemi and have Gibson Shorty Headers, JBA Hi-Flows and Zoomers Cat Back. When I first installed my Headers, I noticed an immediate improvement in low and mid-range torque, not so much in the high range. Granted I didn't have it dyno'ed but thats what I noticed with ...

RE: Fan on/off adjustment
Diablo has posted before that if you install a 180* t-stat, a good rule of thumb is to lower the fan temps the same difference accordingly. So, if you went from a 200* to a 180,* you'd lower all the fan temps by 20.* Correct me if I'm wrong on that, anyone.

Johan, I emailed you the following and wanted to share it with everyone here to keep them up to speed as it seems we may be getting closer to a solution, maybe:
Alright, you're not going to like what I have to say, because it is puzzling to me as well. I can only run 91 octane in CA and you first ...

Re: RE: Re: RE: adding fuel w/ hf cats
Thank you for clarifying that. Shorties are my next mod and that answered the question for me, thanks.
Mind if I ask why? Shorties are a waste. They don't make much more power then stock manis, all of which is on the top end, and you still gotta go through the trouble installing them. If you're ...
