RE: 2009 Charger 9r30 crom
I apologize mikel, but I'm still not clear on what new calibrations there are with this new update. I guess I'm just trying to figure out what the new shift points do. Is it worth upgrading as the old 9r29 seemed to be working pretty good except I would have like the car do down shift a little ...

2009 Charger 9r30 crom
Hey Mikel, I noticed the above crom was recently added for the u7135 tool. It states that you can now adjust shift points for 08-10 models, but I thought crom 9r29 already covered this. Is this referring to WOT or is it new shift points for day to day driving? What should I expect with this update?

RE: Re: RE: Quick Jerk In Car
If it is a torque converter should it be as noticeable as it is or do I need to get it replaced or can a tune smooth it out so its not as much of a jerk. Again I only notice it at the above speeds but unfortunately that's the speed limit in town.

RE: Quick Jerk In Car
It could be, but I'm not sure, as I'm not overly familiar with vehicles and the mechanics behind them. All I can tell you is that its a pretty noticeable jerk and if you stay in the above kph range it becomes quite annoying, as it will continuously do it. I must also add there is almost a very brief ...

Quick Jerk In Car
Hey Mikel,
I'm not sure if the predator can solve this issue, but I've taken my car into the dealership several times and each time with no success. Basically since I've owned my charger r/t, there has always been a quick jerk(lunge forward) in the car after I press the gas after the vehicles ...

RE: MDS smoothing for 93 cai tune
yup thats the one, my apologies, I didn't know that all tunes were smoothed on this revision. I haven't had the tune in for very long, and I reset the adaptive's when I installed it. I just assumed the mds was working o.k until the car learned its bad habits as it usually does. On a side note, what ...

MDS smoothing for 93 cai tune
Hey Mikel your MDS smoothing worked liked a charm for the 91 cai tune. Can I get you to smooth the 93 cai tune as well please. Will this overwrite my last smoothed tune or will it add another custom tune when I go to import to the predator. Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Aaron

RE: Re: RE: Idle
I have the exact same problem as Ron with my 2009 dodge charger rt. It does it with all tunes including stock. I never noticed it before the predator, but to be fair I only put 3000-4000 kms before I added it. I recently input the 93 cai tune in and it seems to be a little more chaotic. Maybe the ...

Two quick questions
1. Can I run the 93 tune on 94 octane ethanol blended fuel? I'm asking as I'm not sure about this ethanol blended gas yet.
2. I have an Airaid cold air intake. Should I use the 93 or 93 cai tune?
Thanks
Aaron

Hey mikel, I was on hypertechs web page and they had an interesting way of controlling the mds. Their tuner could be programed to deactivate mds below a certain speed which the owner could choose. I was curious if diablo's working on something similar, or if something like that is being discussed ...
