Re: Not a good Purchase

I had a similar problem with Summit a while back. It seems like they get a little "carried away" with their "select a vehicle" parts look-up once in a while. Since they provide links to the manufacturers, it's a good idea to verify the part actually works. Other than that one glitch, I like to deal ...

refresh tune

Since the control modules all have a "self adjusting" feature, is it necessary to "refresh" my diablo tune? If so, how often should I do it>

Re: DS downloader HELP!!!!

I can live with that as long as it completes the download but it stops about half way on the Ford diesel and tells me that DS downloader has stopped working. It will be a problem if I ever buy anything other than a gas powered Chevy.

DS downloader HELP!!!!

I just updated my Trinity to the latest crom (1 10r?). It downloader the GM gas OK but then it tries to download the ford diesel crom. I have no idea why since the tool hasn't been within a half mile of a Ford diesel. Problem is that at about half way on the diesel file the DS downloader stops ...

91 octane tune

Is there a 91 octane tune for my Colorado (5.3L)? One doesn't appear in the menu (ver. h) and the diablo tune is a little much for every day driving. ( But it does go like hell!!!)

Re: Tire size adjustment

I just got my diablo trinity and had the intune before I have 285/75 R18 Nitto Trail grapplers so what will be the proper height in inches it has an OD of 33" on the sidewall of the tire but when I put that in the trinity it has the speedo off by about 3mph on my Intune I entered 31" and it was ...

Re: battery voltage

I believe the threshold is 10.5 V for Trinity.

IMO, thats not too low for a healthy battery.

Second part of the question. Since I want to return to stock, can I hook up a battery charger to change the tune? I really don't think I should take my truck in with a Diablo tune installed. Also is ...

Re: battery voltage

Maybe, but I'm talking about his discussion with the dealer. An 11V battery should definitely be replaced IMO.

You've got it right. Their service adviser seems to think that "as long as the car starts, the battery is OK." "She" doesn't even consider (or maybe doesn't know) that low voltage ...

battery voltage

What is the minimum battery voltage necessary to install a tune and can I tune my vehicle wile its connected to a battery charger? My dealer and I are having a discussion about whether a battery that only puts out 11 volts should be replaced under warranty. (I have a Trinity) :punisher:

Re: MPG Booster Tune

Is there a loss of power when installing the Mileage Booster Tune or does it stay the same as stock? From what I understand, the main difference is the truck will stay in 4-cylinder mode longer. Can someone give me more details about this tune, please?

Re: 2010 Colorado 5.3 tcm

I'm also driving a 2010 Colorado with a 5.3. (3.42 gears) You should be able to change the TCM without changing the tune but be prepared for FIRM and FIRMER shifts. I left my TCM stock and just made an adjustment for bigger tires and the economy tune.

On another note. My valve train started ...

Re: make changes to tune?

Hummmm..... maybe I should gear up the Denali. Its only got 3.42s, so maybe 4.88s or 5.13s would be good. :P Nah, seriously, I'd be looking 3.73 or more likely 4.10s or 4.30s.

Regi says 5608lbs, 403hp (more like 425). Maybe I can get that sluggish 6.3 second 0-60 down into the 5's.

Does it use ...
