How does SCT unlock the pcm?

How is it not tune able when we can send in the factory pcm as an option to have it tuned? Is this something that will be fixed to just have a handheld later on down the road?

Do you really need a new pcm or have to send in your pcm for a tune on a 2016 Ram??

So is this issue corrected via custom tune from you guys? Wanting to purchase an I2 hut want to know it will work lol.

Any news on a fix? Want to buy an I2 but won't until this is resolved.

Mike i uploaded the adjusted tune you posted and the fan is fixed but the performance is down. Feels and shifts like stock. Was anything adjusted torque management wise on this tune? Here's the LTW, maybe something didnt' upload correctly?

This just corrected the fans and left the tune alone right?

I loaded the 87 tune and adjusted the throttle response and tire size but noticed my electric fan is running all the time after it reaches temp. It fluctuates 6* from 197-203* going down the hwy in 50* weather. On the stock tune the fan never came on and the active grill shutters would be closed the ...

I'm taking my truck in for an update to the operating system of the navigation and radio. They update through the USB flash drive. Is it necessary to tune the truck back to stock or will it be fine since they aren't touching the OBD plugin?
