Tunes for v 9 r05...

Hey - just got my v9 r05... I traded in my v2.0. All I can say is WOW. But I have a question. The tunes I see are:

- Predator Tow Tune
- +65 hp economy tune
- +80 hp tune
- +100 hp tune

My question is... in the new tuner, is the +85 hp tune not there - replaced by the +80 hp tune, or is the ...

ok its been almost 2 years since the cobalt 2.2l e16a came out and no one has came out with a tune wtf most people are stuck on thier builds due to the fact that the ecu can not handle the boost or the engine mods. there are some companies claiming that they have made a tune but they havent done so ...

Re: RE: Can someone tell me the benefits of upgrading my Pre

The update included these fixes:
Addition of support for 06 Hummer H1, improved tunes to address "defuel" between shifts and a reduction of EGT by allowing more boost

65hp tune is usually the best one for mpg, all depending on your foot.

OK... that helps. Any chance you can comment on the other ...

Can someone tell me the benefits of upgrading my Predator?

Hi all,

I bought a Predator version 2.0 from a guy out on eBay right after I bought my truck. It really breathed a lot of power and fuel economy into my truck. Right now, I'm getting between 21 and 22 mpg in my '04.5 LLY Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax.

I'm considering upgrading, which is gonna cost ...

RE: 7186 LMM program

Well, I went up to 22.4 mpg (best ever) with my Predator (version 2.0) on +65 hp economy tune. I've towed my TT several times with the +40 hp tune. I put on a 4" turbo back exhaust about a month ago and switched over to the +85 hp tune yesterday after a buddy told me his best mpg was on that tune ...

RE: What

Well... since the tires I am running are stock size, I've not done anything to the tire calibration. I guess I could check things and verify that the size is dead on... but that I think is missing the point. Thanks for the feedback though...

RE: What

So... sorry to beleaguer the point... but if the commanded fuel flow values are consistent at a particular speed/engine RPM/etc, even if the total numbers are off, it would seem that the numbers would be somewhat consistent. In fact, that was the case when I first installed the +65 hp tune. Things ...

I'm definitely interested in an Ecotec tune for my 2.4l '07 HHR. Looks like HPTunes supports this engine, but it sounds like you've gotta have a PhD to do anything with it. I'd much prefer a Predator tune with predefined options... :D

What's going on with DIC?

Hi,
I have a Predator 2.0, using it on an '04.5 Chevy Silverado LLY Duramax. When I first installed the +65 hp tune, I saw a good improvement to mileage and performance. I was seeing just under 22.5 mpg hand calc'ed (borne out on a couple of 200+ mile road trips). However, I was seeing DIC report ...
