It stops the car from changing gears itself in Autostick mode. I have installed andrunning an earlier (06) TCM which allows me to disable the autostick in my 2007 300C SRT8.

R18 has removed the function to allow 07 SRT8's to disable this so I am stuck running R17.

That could play havoc with a lot of your normal day to day driving. Its ok for that to happen with the couple of tiimes you may need it but if you are just driving normally/everyday driving, you don't want it kicking down every time start to accelerate.

Besides if you require the car to kick down ...

There is a problem and being that they are 2 of the most important safety functions if you happen to be in or trying to avoid a crash, I would strongly suggest taking it to the dealer and have it fixed. Your car is classed as an 07 SRT8 if it was built 09/06. You will not get Autostick disable to function with R17 and this will also screw up other fuinctions relating to the trans. For example downshifting in Autostick and Drive shift isssues.

You best bet is to put your car back to stock, download ...
