RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: What really is "Throttle boost"

The goal of the persons innitial question was for DiabloSport to confirm this explination. From what I have seen, DiabloSport provides a great product, that has a great tune, and helps us mod our cars. DiabloSport does NOT provide training to the pulic for them to be an automotive technician, or a s...

Re: RE: Re: RE: What really is "Throttle boost"?

Im still confused. its so simple, you shouldn't even be able to write a paragraph about it. It increases the throttle opening relative to pedal input. The question was where did #2 come from. That is what I was explaning. True its simple increase boost, throttle opens sooner = faster car. #2 was si...

Re: RE: Re: RE: What really is "Throttle boost"?

It was from the Challenger forum. I guess I really don't see a benefit then in throttle boost and why people would really want it. It's kind of like a having a hair trigger on a gun where it's more or less on and off but hard to find something in between. We arent talking about a 1,000 hp engine, i...

Re: RE: What really is "Throttle boost"?

It increases throttle response by allowing for more throttle blade opening vs. how much pedal is applied. Where in the world did #2 come from?? If you think about it logically it makes sense. How can opening the throttly more earlier help? Why do they even have a throttle body to begin with? Why do...

How do I export it? Sure Ill give it a try. I dont like using older tunes, but its looking to me like its not allowing me to adjust the a/f ratio.

Probably going to need to add more fuel than that, only a wideband O2 or ideally a custome CMR dyno based tune will properly tell you this.

Remove 1% fuel at high rpm range. Also advance the timing and repeat until you get more than 0kr then remove it until its just at 0.

Platnum plugs are rated at 100k miles. Thats an advantage. Some cars have them stock so the manufacture can say the car has a 100k miles per tune up.

RE: U7135 9R27 and tuning

Thanks, but with 9r27 adding or removing as much as 20% fuel has 0 impact to the a/f ratio according to my wideband O2. Going to try 9r26 when my car gets back from the dealership.

RE: U7135 9R27 and tuning

Anyone tested this? I am going to try the 9R26 version to make sure I can modify the fuel at WOT, but if 9R27 is required for the latest calids then I may be in trouble if the dealerhip updates my car.

RE: U7135 and Gas Milage

Drive it exactly the same way. I found when driving it exactly the same way I get an increase in mpg with the 93 tune. Many enjoy the newly found power and use it, so then by getting on the throttle harder the mpg goes down, not because of the DS tunes.

U7135 9R27 and tuning

I like to load the latest tune, but with the 9R27 and the 5.7L R/T I find adjusting wot fuel has no impact to the tune, and I find the 93 tune to be richer than stock.

Using a wideband O2. I will need to go back to 9R26 to see if I can adjust the a/f ratio.

U7135 and 9r27

What does "Release 9r27 (Internal Update, No tune or feature changes)"
mean? This has been what was listed for a couple of revisions now. Does this mean minor internal fixes?

RE: 91 performance tune vs 91 performace CAI Tune

The basic idea of the CAI tune is because a quality CAI that works will lean the tune, and require adding fuel. Basically if you have a CAI, use th cai tune, if you dont have a CAI dont use the CAI tune.
