The BBK is not a supported CAI kit on the predator. You can modify one of the performance tunes so it works correctly with your vehicle. mike_too was correct on the setup for you to install for best results.

No, You can go into the predator and change the rear end ratio so it matches whatever gears you changed on the car. This will keep your shiftpoints correct if you have an auto trans and also your speedo will be correct.

The only way the chip can be damaged in this manner. Is if the key was in the ignition and you removed the chip and it shorted out.
