if it will not let you restore the backup now, give us a call and we'll get it to do that, then update to this version to fix the issue.

I just gave the Diablo Hard Shift tune a very short test drive and it appears the shifting issue has been resolved. I will test it more thoroughly (also using ...

Diablo support

I understand from the Support web page that you would prefer to use the forums where ever possible to resolve issues with your products. I originally posted the above problem on Dec 20th and its still unresolved (I've actually posted 3 problems - all unresolved). Yeah, I realize ...

Need a Fix - Tranny Tuning Problem

The following thread was originally posted in the Backup Corrupt thread but was never resolved so I'll try again with a new thread.

I have a 2011 Silverado 1500 4x4 with the 6.2. The first thing I did to the Trinity was install all updates – even before connecting it to the truck.

With both the ...

we need to determine why the tool is not tuning your tcm, thats where the true shifting gains come from.

Okay, one more post/question... (I knew it was a bad idea to post two problems in one thread <G>)

Has there been any progress on my shifting problem? There is another thread "2010 GMC Sierra ...

Well it looks like i have some bad news for you, considering the situation you are in there is no way i can fix it up remotely.
I just tried this on the bench with your setup, vin and pcm/tcm setup and no issues there.
Sooo, your option would be to go to the dealer and get your pcm reflashed back ...

I currently have keiths unit here on my desk, we i got it, it acted as an update had just been applied, do you recall if you updated this unit in the process or before or inbetween tuning your vehicle?
The same goes for the above poster, did you at any point update the unit while you had a backup ...

I gave the new tune a try and it is certainly less violent than before but now the shifting is just soft. It's shifting like the truck is stock. Just to be clear, firm shifting is desired - it's the revving to redline before it shifts that's the problem.

There must be some tuning parameters that ...

I've trying to reset the gauge layouts while connected to the PC (No luck). Previously I had tried resetting the layouts while connected to the truck (Also no luck).

From reading other threads it appears the gauge layouts can be saved to your PC, so I assume there is also a way to load them in from ...

After selectined the Restore Default Gauge Layouts from the Logging menu, it still only shows the (2) gauge layouts I created.

Any other ideas?

Default Gauge Layouts Missing

My Diablo Trinity does not have any default guage layouts installed. When I select the "restore Default" option from the Monitoring menu it appears to try to resoter the defaults but there is no change (No gauge layouts are added). I know I can create my own, but if there are some existing gauge ...

Re: RE: Backup Corrupt

simple fix, give us a call with the tool powered up in the truck, we'll get it to recover the stock tune.

Thank you for the very quick response.

For those that may pick up this thread and experience this problem. Everything is working fine after a quick fix from Diablo support. Apparently a ...
